Envorim Free Firewall gives you full power to decide what programs may exchange data on the Internet. Unlike the stock firewall that comes in Windows, this piece of software makes everything much easier to control. Rather than going through multiple menus just to prevent a specific application from connecting to the Internet, you can open this lightweight utility and perform the task with a single click.

As its name suggests, the software is offered free of charge. It comes in a small package and it doesn't take long to install it. To make sure nothing goes wrong, the installation wizard will create a system snapshot before it makes any changes. There is no need to meet any special requirements, so you can run the software right away.

Processes that connect to the Internet are displayed in a list, on the main user interface. They are color-coded, to indicate which ones are blocked or allowed through and you can also filter them. Besides active and inactive processes, the software displays all services in a similar manner. Each item can be blocked or allowed in just a second, by simply clicking a button next to its entry.

Envorim Free Firewall comes with a few extra options, which you will definitely find useful. The software can be switched from credulous mode to paranoid mode, if you wish to block everything by default, including web browsers. If a process is blocked, the software will display a notification in the lower right corner of the screen, along with options for allowing and blocking the process.

Besides preventing applications from connecting to the Internet, Envorim Free Firewall can also protect against attacks from the Internet, prevent analysis services and user tracking on web pages and block Windows telemetry data, which is particularly useful in Windows 10. These features can be turned on with a single click, on the same interface, but on a separate tab.

Envorim Free Firewall gives you more control over the basic protection of your system and it makes it much more flexible.

Pros

You can block or allow processes with a single click. Envorim Free Firewall can block Windows telemetry data and other intrusive features. The software is free and you can have it up and running in no time.

Cons

There are no obvious drawbacks to mention.
